We are pleased to announce the release of WRAP (Wide-field Retrieval of Astrodata Program) version 0.5.0. This update brings significant improvements and bug fixes based on user feedback and rigorous testing. Here are the key changes in this version:

Features:

  • Name assigned to WRAP: Wide-field Retrieval of Astrodata Program.
  • Added a WISEView link, which opens WISEView in your default window when WRAP is executed.
  • Introduced "Select All" and "Deselect All" buttons for the catalogs, providing a convenient way to manage catalog selections.
  • Implemented a pop-up window that confirms successful recording of user clicks.
  • Created a comprehensive User Manual to guide users through WRAP's functionalities.
  • Included user input in the output CSV file, enhancing the usefulness of the generated data.
  • Added information about the catalog from which the data originates, improving data traceability.

Bugs:

  • Removed the adjustable window for the catalog pop-up window, ensuring a consistent user experience.
  • Resolved the issue with PanSTARRS images, ensuring correct downloading of all images.
