Dolphin for PS4 v03.10
Dolphin for PS4 v03.10
Install
- On v03.08 or later: say Yes when Dolphin offers the update. It downloads a small update (about 50 MB), checks it and asks you to Restart Now; that's all. Your games, saves and settings are kept.
- On v03.06 or older: install
DolphinPS4-v03.10.pkgby hand with your package installer (on top of the old version is fine). From then on, updates install themselves. - On v03.03: don't update from inside that version (its updater uninstalls the app); install the package by hand.
Settings → About shows the version that runs, and the installed package's version if an update runs on top of it. The PS4's own game info keeps showing the installed package's version; that's normal.
New since v03.06
- Updates install themselves. Dolphin downloads the new version into
/data/DolphinPS4/appand starts it from there, the way the PS4 Homebrew Store updates itself. Nothing is reinstalled, and if an update ever fails to start, Dolphin goes back to the installed version on its own. - Faster games that use the GameCube's memory mapping (Spider-Man 2, Ultimate Spider-Man and others): memory lookups are done directly in the translated game code, and a page change no longer throws away all the cached lookups. If one of these games misbehaves, add
soft_tlb=flush(orjit_tlb_inline=off) to/data/DolphinPS4/ps4.iniand tell us on Discord. - GPU Texture Decoding (Settings → Graphics, off by default): decodes game textures on the PS4's GPU instead of the CPU. Worth a try in draw-heavy scenes; turn it off again if textures look wrong.
