WordPress Multisite support
CookieChimp now supports WordPress Multisite with a shared network Account ID and optional per-site overrides.
- Network-wide configuration: Network-activate the plugin and set the default Account ID under Network Admin → Settings → CookieChimp.
- Per-site overrides: Enter a different Account ID under Settings → CookieChimp on an individual site. Leave the field empty to use the network default.
- Per-site activation: When activated separately on individual sites, each site uses its own Account ID. Existing single-site installations continue to work as before.
- Network Admin settings: Includes a dedicated settings page and a Settings link on the network Plugins screen.
- Account ID validation: Shared validation for site and network settings rejects invalid IDs, including IDs containing backslashes.
Installation and upgrade
