Copper68k 1.5.4-nitro-dev.2 is the frozen development package qualified for Nitro's race-start timing correction. This GitHub release supplies the exact package used by the CopperScreen compatibility replays. It is not published to NuGet.org.

Memory BTST now completes its required final instruction fetch after a delayed operand read, with Z already updated before that fetch. Static/dynamic memory forms and scalar/kind/packed execution are covered. The companion CopperScreen interrupt sampler also records inactive and masked IPL levels. Together these changes let Nitro enter its first race with native Kickstart and the source-built CopperStart ROM, and respond to driving input without game-specific patches.

  • Each Nitro ROM and the Lotus 2 control completes 14,000 fields with all 355 batch/scalar capture files matching. A neutral-input Nitro control separates the driving response after field 11,000.
  • Source CI: 5,417 CPU tests passed, 109 optional/deferred skips; 86,663,530 logical cases in 783 validated batches; 18 AHX shared-dependency tests passed.
  • Bounded first-race coverage only; full races/game completion, audio fidelity, physical timing and formal throughput acceptance remain unverified.

The frozen package is uploaded without rebuilding. Previously published versions remain unchanged. ROMs and game media are not included.
