Chess Analyzer Pro v1.7 🚀

Here is what's new in version 1.7:

🌟 Key Changes

  • Standalone macOS App Support: Added support for a fully self-contained macOS .app bundle. You can drag and drop it straight to your Applications folder.
  • Moved to Groq from Gemini: Switched to the lightning-fast Groq API (from Gemini) for game summaries and coach insights. You can now customize your AI model in Settings.
  • Lichess API Token Required: You now need to add a Lichess API token in Settings to fetch book moves and fix the 401 Unauthorized issue.
  • Better Board UI: The chessboard, captured pieces, and evaluation bar have been redesigned to stay perfectly square and stable when resizing.
  • Smart Pawn Chips: Captured pawns are now displayed in a single clean chip with counts (e.g., ♟³).

📦 Installation

  • macOS: Download ChessAnalyzerPro-v1.7-macOS.zip, unzip, and drag ChessAnalyzerPro.app to your Applications folder.
  • Windows: Download ChessAnalyzerPro-v1.7-Windows.zip, unzip the folder, and double-click ChessAnalyzerPro.exe (make sure it stays next to the _internal folder).
