Kadr 0.1.8 — clearer cursors in the editor.
- Arrows, shapes, lines, blur and other annotation tools now use the regular pointer instead of a thin crosshair.
- The color picker, crop and pencil use the precise crosshair with a dot on the exact pixel.
- Handles of a selected annotation show what they do: move-point arrows on line and arrow ends, resize arrows on corners.
Update: menu → Check for Updates… → Install and Relaunch, or brew upgrade kadr.

Kadr 0.1.7 — report a problem right from the app.
- Report a Problem… in the menu bar menu (also in Help and Settings → About): describe what happened, attach up to 5 files — drag & drop or one click for the last screenshot — and optionally system information. You see exactly what will be sent before you press Send; nothing is sent automatically. The report goes straight to the developer.

Kadr 0.1.6
Kadr 0.1.6 — faster, calmer capture and a macOS-style selection.
- No more flicker when you press ⌘⇧4 and when the selection closes. The frozen screen now matches your display's color profile pixel for pixel and appears together with its window.
- Faster capture: the selection shows up sooner, multiple displays are captured at the same time, and copying to the clipboard is instant.
- New option "Selection like macOS" (Settings → General): no screen dimming, crosshair lines or magnifier — just the cursor and the selection frame, with coordinates and size next to the cursor.
- New crosshair cursor with a dot exactly on the target pixel — easy to aim precisely on any background.
- Fixed: the arrow cursor sometimes stayed instead of the crosshair, and the crosshair sometimes stayed in the editor.
- After a screenshot, focus returns to the app you were working in.

Kadr 0.1.5
Kadr 0.1.5 — sharper screenshots on regular (non-Retina) monitors.
- Screenshots are now saved and copied exactly as on screen by default. Before, Kadr doubled them to 2× — Telegram and browsers ignore that and compress the doubled image harder, so text got blurry. The 2× option is still in Settings → General ("Sharp screenshots from regular displays").
- The editor at 100% no longer lands on a half pixel on 1× monitors — no more blur while editing. Tip: press ⌘0 to view at 100%.
- Tip for Telegram: send the screenshot as a file (or untick "Compress image") for the best quality.

- 🐞 Fixed a crash while selecting an area (the magnifier label).

Kadr 0.1.3
Kadr 0.1.3 — updates now install themselves.
Install and Relaunch: from now on, when a new version is out, Kadr downloads it, checks that it is signed with the same certificate, replaces itself and relaunches. No browser, no DMG, no “Apple could not verify Kadr” window.
Updating from 0.1.0–0.1.2 (one last time): older versions open the download in the browser, so macOS may block it. Easiest way — open Terminal, paste and press Enter:

Or brew upgrade kadr. If you already saw “Kadr Not Opened”: System Settings → Privacy & Security → scroll down → Open Anyway.

🌍 14 interface languages: English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Polski, Português (Brasil), Türkçe, Українська, Русский, 日本語, 한국어, 简体中文.
Kadr follows your system language (English if it isn't translated yet). Change it any time: Settings → General → Interface Language.

Первая публичная версия Kadr — бесплатная замена платным приложениям для скриншотов, все функции без ограничений.
Что умеет: снимки экрана, области и окна (с тенью); ⌘⇧4 / ⌘⇧3 как в macOS с превью в углу; редактор с 15 инструментами (стрелки, текст, счётчик, размытие, пикселизация, прожектор, лупа, пипетка, обрезка); вставка фото в кадр и склейка; оформление снимков (градиенты, рамки окна, браузера, MacBook, iPhone); скролл-скриншоты; распознавание текста и QR; запись экрана в MP4/GIF со звуком; история, библиотека с поиском по тексту, коллажи; загрузка в S3/R2 со ссылкой в буфере; русский и английский интерфейс.
Установка одной командой (без предупреждений macOS): откройте «Терминал» (⌘ + Пробел → «Терминал» → Enter), вставьте строку и нажмите Enter:
