What's new

New look

  • Soft Deck redesign with a much darker dark theme and a floating page sheet
  • Custom background images now actually show: choose how much the theme covers them (40, 60 or 80%)
  • Small version card in Settings
  • Option to skip the splash screen (Settings, General)

Windows

  • Resize Roblox clients freely with the mouse, past Roblox's 800×600 minimum, and move them without snapping back
  • Tiny windows: start clients small, with a size you choose

Performance

  • Graphics flags: MSAA, texture quality, rendering mode, gray sky, no grass, lowest render quality. Roblox may ignore Vulkan and OpenGL
  • Anti-AFK now has a panel on Home. It stays off by default

Vault

  • Optional 9-character recovery code for a forgotten master password. It works only for the same Windows user on the same PC, so keep it away from that PC, on a USB stick, phone or paper. .roalt backups cover moving to a new PC

Fixes

  • Security and reliability fixes from a full audit, including tighter window permissions and backup checks
  • Restoring an older backup no longer resets per-account options

No Authenticode signature yet: SmartScreen warns. The SHA-256 sums are below and in SHA256SUMS.txt; RoALT-Setup-0.7.0.exe.sig is the signature RoALT's built-in updater checks before it runs the installer.

  • Windows 10 1809 or later, or Windows 11, x64: RoALT-Setup-0.7.0.exe. SmartScreen warns on first run: More info → Run anyway.
  • Needs the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime (Windows 11 has it). Setup checks, and offers Microsoft's download when it is missing.
