processRequest takes signWithoutDidAuth: with no DIDAuthentication query
present, the response is signed with the existing presentationSigner over
the VPR-root challenge and no domain. Default off; unchanged behavior
otherwise (WR-3).
composeCapabilityRequest puts challenge at the VPR root beside the copy
inside the AuthorizationCapabilityQuery (WR-3).
signCapabilityRequest / verifyCapabilityRequest and the ISignedCapabilityRequest type: the connection request's proof by the named controller (DataIntegrityProof, eddsa-jcs-2022, purpose authentication, proof challenge equal to the root one, no domain). The
signed request carries the Data Integrity v2 @context. The verifier refuses
a missing or second proof, another cryptosuite or purpose, a domain, a
challenge mismatch, more than one named controller, a controller that is
not a did:key, a verification method outside that controller, and any failed
signature check (WR-3).
New direct dependency @interop/jsonld-signatures (^11.8.7).
Changed
BREAKING: composeVp's didAuthRequested option is renamed sign. It
only ever meant "sign the VP"; the caller decides when that is, so processRequest now passes sign and the proof's domain as plain inputs.
The processAppConnect processor still receives didAuthRequested, which
there reports what the request asked for.
The shared documentLoader moves from composeVp.ts to its own documentLoader.ts module. It is still exported from the root barrel, so
imports are unchanged.
Docs: the party that sends a request and receives grants is the "requester"
(an app, service, or agent), defined in the ARCHITECTURE.md Glossary. JSDoc on IVPRDetails.agent, normalizeAgentName, AGENT_NAME_MAX_LENGTH, and composeCapabilityRequest uses that term.
