Ionic serve doesn't work

Short description of the problem:

I am trying Ionic2.
I have installed it but when i run ionic serve to check the basic starter app it doesn't work.
If i check that app on the browser what i see is just a blank page.

I have then cloned the conference-app.
There were no error installing it except few npm warnings.
Ionic serve gives no result. Nothing happens.
If i check that app in the browser there is a blank page.

What behavior are you expecting?

I expect to run ionic serve properly and see the demo app in the browser.
With ionic 1 everything works fine.

In firefox i have no errors in console.
In chrome i see the following errors:

GET http://localhost/ionic2/ionic-conference-app/www/cordova.js 404 (Not Found)
GET http://localhost/ionic2/ionic-conference-app/www/build/js/app.bundle.js

Same problem here serving the ionic2-tutorial-github template:
(Safari) [Error] Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) (app.bundle.js, line 0) http://localhost:8100/build/js/app.bundle.js

Hey all, you shouldn't need to use gulp until the next release of the CLI. Do either of the following not work?

1. ionic start myapp conference --v2

2. cd myapp

3. ionic serve

4. git clone https://github.com/driftyco/ionic-conference-app myapp

5. cd myapp

6. npm install

7. ionic serve

If you are cloning the repo then you need to run npm install first, otherwise Ionic won't be present and serve will not build. Other things to check if you're using beta.2 of the framework: that node_modules/ionic-angular exists, that your imports are for ionic-angular: import {Page} from 'ionic-angular' and that ionic -v is 2.0.0-beta.19.

and indeed I see a blank app
