The interface tests could use a few tests around this, just ensuring the CIDs generated for some known inputs are the same should be enough.

js-ipfs is being deprecated in favor of Helia. You can #4336 and read the migration guide.

Please feel to reopen with any comments by 2023-06-02. We will do a final pass on reopened issues afterward (see #4336).

I believe this issue is related to the interop of js-ipfs and Kubo, and is irrelevant in Helia since Helia is not trying to be 100% compatible with the Kubo API.
