Save cell toolbar and slide type metadata in notebooks

Maybe this is already implemented or maybe I just don't know how to do it correctly, but it seems like you can't save these options in a notebook. I.e., if I want to create a slideshow, every time I open the notebook, I have to click on the "Cell Toolbar" dropdown, then click on the "Slide Type" dropdown for each slide. This is quite cumbersome for when the number of slides grows large enough.

Since the only point of those cell toolbars is to write cell metadata to the notebook, it would definitely be a bug if it's failing now for some reason.

Hm, when I test with master I do see that the metadata written by the toolbar is there when I open notebooks, and is written properly. Can you provide a more detailed example?

Dumb question, do you save the notebook after making the changes ?

D'oh. My mistake. The cell metadata is saved. It's just the cell toolbar that's not, which isn't a big deal. I was looking at some newer slides for which I hadn't selected a slide type yet. Sorry for the noise.

Live slideshow mode or revealjs ?

Will probably be using revealjs for this (dissertation presentation) unless I need live mode, but I haven't gotten that far yet. Either way I expect to blow my committee's minds.
