Downloads survive a passing server error (#86).

  • Identity checks. The checks of a remote object's identity, made before and after a download and when reading from a remote BAM, are tried again after a server error (500, 502, 503, 504), a 429 or a dropped connection.
    • Up to five tries, about 1, 2, 4 and 8 s apart, or as long as Retry-After asks, up to 30 s.
    • A timeout, a TLS error or any other 4xx still fails at once.
  • Pinned downloads. A download pinned by checksum, such as a published bundle, no longer fails when those checks do.
