Highlights

• Cleaner call graph (extractor tree-sitter/1.28). Ix no longer writes edges to things that aren't in the graph. Before, calls to builtins, library functions and names defined nowhere were stored as edges pointing at nothing. Now each function records those calls by name instead. ix explain lists them ("Calls with no definition in the graph: …"), and edges between files carry a confidence and a tier showing how they were resolved. Because the parser's output changed, the first ix map of each repository after upgrading re-ingests every file once and prints [extractor changed] tree-sitter/1.27 -> tree-sitter/1.28. The re-ingest resumes if it is interrupted, and later maps are incremental as usual. Expect lower edge counts afterwards, mostly CALLS: the edges that went are the ones that pointed at nothing.
• Security: proxy-addr 2.0.8, fixing CVE-2026-90711, a CRITICAL vulnerability in a transitive dependency (#793).

Upgrading

• ix upgrade, or brew upgrade ix once the formula update merges.
• The first ix map of each repository afterwards re-ingests it once ([extractor changed] tree-sitter/1.27 -> tree-sitter/1.28). The re-ingest resumes if interrupted, and later maps are incremental.
• No backend change is needed. This release works with ix-memory-layer 1.0.32 and later; 1.0.34 is current.
