Kaze now runs on Intel Macs too: each release has an Apple silicon and an Intel download, and
each updates itself to its own.
Signing in
Google sign-in no longer says "This browser or app may not be secure": Kaze presents itself
as Chrome consistently, not only in its user agent, and "Sign in with Google" buttons open
their sign-in window.
Sign in with ChatGPT works again (it stopped with "requires a device ID").
The New Tab page
Pick up where you left off: under the field, what you were doing, Kaze's run and what's due,
only what the sidebar and panels don't already show; setting up Kaze is its own group.
The field no longer vanishes when clicked right after a window opens.
Import
Chrome's tab groups come over with your open tabs, named and coloured as they were.
The agent
The agent learns how the sites you use work. After a task that took it some work on a site,
what it found out there (the way to do things, the pitfalls, the site's own endpoints) is
written into that site's skill, and the next time it gets there it's given those notes.
They're in Skills, under what the agent knows about sites, to read, edit or delete; notes
no task has confirmed for three months go. While you're away from the Mac, the agent does a
little background work on the sites it uses most: it finds their APIs, turns tasks it keeps
doing into fast read-only commands (kept only once they've been tried and work), and checks
notes that stopped holding — three jobs a day at most, changing nothing on the sites.
The tabs the agent opens close by themselves once you're done with them: ten minutes after
you've looked at one and moved on (Undo and ⌘⇧T bring it back). One you haven't looked at
yet stays; drag one out of the agent's group, pin it or press Keep and it's yours.
Tabs as icons (View › Tabs as Icons, the sidebar's collapse button, or its edge pulled in):
the sidebar becomes a narrow rail of favicons and the tabs at the top their icons alone, so
the page gets the room. Titles show in the tab's hover card; nothing widens under the pointer.
A window too narrow for the sidebar now shows the rail instead of moving the tabs to the top.
The coding agents on your Mac get Kaze's browser without a trip to Settings: Claude Code,
Codex, Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, Gemini CLI and now DeepSeek Harness are each
connected once, and Kaze says which. Disconnect one and it stays disconnected. Kaze no
longer opens each time one of them starts a session, only when an agent uses the browser.
BrowserMCP 0.0.38: the agent can go to another page in a tab it already has and close the
tabs it's done with, keeping only what it hands you; its site commands show from the start.
It reads pages a screen at a time, can wait for a page to be ready after going to it, and
says plainly when page code ran out of time.
The tabs the agent opens fold into one row: its group starts collapsed, its label shows what
the agent is doing there and how many tabs it holds, and it opens when a tab needs you.
Browsing
One tooltip everywhere, in ink, beside the page too; tab hover cards are clearer.
Swipe between Spaces anywhere over the sidebar.
The translate button always toggles: a press stops a translation or shows the original; its
options are a right-click away.
A new tab's favicon no longer flashes its loading ring for pages that are there at once.
Fixes
Quitting no longer shows an error from the ad blocker.
