Matcha 1.5.7

Choose a tag to compare

@jakeantelis jakeantelis released this 31 Oct 18:27

Matcha 1.5.7

A quiet, green keep awake timer for builds, exports, and AI coding agents.

Changes

  • The menu bar icon is the teacup and saucer again, now white on a dark bar and black on a light one, like other menu bar icons. It is an outline when idle and filled while Matcha is keeping your Mac awake.
  • An endless session no longer shows a separate infinity sign next to the icon, so the menu bar item takes one spot. Timed sessions still show the countdown.
  • The icon still blinks orange in the last five minutes of a session.

Matcha 1.5.6

A quiet, green keep awake timer for builds, exports, and AI coding agents.

Changes

  • New app icon: the same teacup and saucer you see in the app, with a matcha top and steam, on a deep green tile that stands out in the Dock and Finder.
  • The installer window now shows the new icon.
  • The app itself is unchanged.

Matcha 1.5.5

A quiet, green keep awake timer for builds, exports, and AI coding agents.

Changes

  • New app icon: a bolder cup of matcha on a deep green tile that stands out in the Dock and Finder.
  • New menu bar icon: a solid cup that is easy to see when idle, and turns green with steam while Matcha is keeping your Mac awake.
  • New installer window: double click Matcha to be asked whether to move it into Applications, or drag it across yourself. The disk image says what Matcha does and what to do.
  • When opened from the disk image or Downloads, Matcha offers once to move itself into Applications and ejects the disk image afterwards.
  • The README now leads with a clear download button, step by step install, screenshots, and a short FAQ.
