Tarn 0.3.2
More choice, and a gentler start.
- Focus rounds can be any length from 1 to 180 minutes: choose Other in the length menu or in Settings, Focus. A new After a round setting lets a round simply stop, with no break
- New Dock icons: choose Classic, Slate, Sage, Dusk, Sand or Night in Settings, General
- Guided meditation now starts with a few quiet seconds of nature before the welcome is spoken
- The Nature calm sound starts with the ocean
Tarn 0.3.1
Updates that arrive on their own, if you want them.
- Tarn now updates through Sparkle. It asks you once whether to check for updates automatically, then checks about once a week. You can also press Check for updates in Settings, General, and choose whether updates download and install by themselves
- Checks go to GitHub and send no personal information, and every update is signed, with the signature checked before it is installed
- If you are on 0.3.0 or older, download this version once by hand. After that, updates arrive through Tarn
Tarn 0.3.0
Tarn 0.3.0
Guided meditation, for when you want a voice.
- New guided meditation in Breathe: choose 5, 10 or 20 minutes and a recorded voice (Soft, Warm or Grounded) guides you, with long stretches of silence. The words appear under the picture, and your sound mix plays softly underneath. A small mixer sets the voice and the nature sound, and one switch in Settings hides it if you never use it
- Sounds drift slightly and fade in and out gently, so they suit a whole day, and the birds are quieter
- The floating circle's close button shows only when you hover over it, and no longer gets stuck
Tarn 0.2.1
A polish pass on the floating circle.
- The ring now sits at the edge of the circle, with no dark band around it
- The close button is a quiet small X until you hover, then it becomes a clear button
- A little more room around the time at the small size, and a larger breathing picture
Tarn 0.2.0
A small floating circle, and a clearer installer.
- New floating circle: a small frosted circle that stays above your other windows. It shows the Focus timer, or the breathing picture in Breathe. Click it to start or pause, hover for a speaker button, and drag it anywhere. It starts small, comes in four sizes, and you can turn it off in Settings, Focus, or from the three dots menu. It steps aside in full screen
- Settings is tidier: the most used options come first, and the rarely used ones are folded away
- The installer window now says exactly what to do: double click Tarn and choose Move to Applications, or drag Tarn onto Applications
Tarn 0.1.1
A small update to the first release.
- Full screen Breathe is easier on the eyes: the picture scales with your screen, the cue is larger and closer, and nothing from the desktop shows through
- A proper About Tarn window, and copyright now in the name of Antelis Labs LLC
- Settings, General has a Show the welcome again button
