5.45.0 is a minor release: it picks up JasperFx 2.94.0 and implements the three members it adds (#816). It follows 5.44.0 by a few hours, because 5.44.0 was published before #816 merged.

New

  • IReadOnlyEventStore.QueryEventData<T>(tenantId) (jasperfx#1073): LINQ over the data of one event type, through the shared DocumentQueryableExtensions terminators.
    • Members translate through JSON_VALUE, as they do for QueryRawEventDataOnly<T>, and an untranslatable expression is refused by name.
    • Tenant rule, the same as QueryStreamStates:
      • a non-null tenant on a store without conjoined event tenancy throws NotSupportedException;
      • on a conjoined store, a non-null tenant scopes the query to that tenant;
      • null uses the session's tenant.
    • Events in archived streams are excluded, and upcasting does not apply.
  • IDocumentStoreDiagnosticsWriter.PreviewDocumentJsonAsync (jasperfx#1071): a dry run of SaveDocumentJsonAsync.
    • It refuses exactly what the save refuses: an unknown type, an id that disagrees with the request, or JSON the serializer rejects.
    • It returns the JSON as the store's serializer would write it.
    • It never touches the database and ignores ExpectedVersion.
  • DocumentTypeRef.IsSoftDeleted (jasperfx#1070): IDocumentStoreDiagnostics.DocumentTypesAsync now says which document types soft-delete. A sub-class reports its root's delete style.

Compliance

  • EventDataQueryCompliance newly enrolled.
  • The ReportsDocumentDeleteStyle and SupportsDocumentWritePreview gates are on.

Dependencies

  • JasperFx / JasperFx.Events 2.93.0 → 2.94.0.

See 5.44.0 for opt-in persisted projection start floors, console undelete, metadata ordering, and the document-side store subject change.
