Persona v0.1.0 — initial open-source release

Local-first personal workspace. Write notes, track tasks, and chat with an AI that knows your files — everything stored as plain Markdown on your machine. No accounts, no cloud, no database.

Highlights

  • Write — file tree + Markdown editor with autosave, live preview, tabs, drag & drop, and AI-generated tags
  • Tasks — natural-language quick add (Buy domain tomorrow #personal !), recurring tasks, AI triage
  • Chat — write-capable AI assistant with workspace context (@file.md, @folder, @tasks) that can manage notes and tasks for you
  • Semantic search — local embeddings index; powers ⌘P, persona search, and chat context
  • Pinboard — pin notes and tasks to the top of your sidebar
  • Terminal — persona note, persona task, persona triage, persona ask, persona search, persona doctor
  • Voice input (macOS) — local speech-to-text via parakeet.cpp, runs on Metal
