Harness² Lab v0.1.0-rc.1
Harness² Lab is an independent DeepSeek Harness plugin for bounded, isolated task experiments. It uses DSH's registered model service and provides a native conversation “实验室 / Lab” view. Google Harness² remains pinned to 1cfe254e8d25b15f37048c3730134686abe60335.
The public npm preview is available as @jcs130/dsh-harness2@0.1.0-rc.1. Install with the DSH plugin manager, or:
dsh plugin --profile <profile> add @jcs130/dsh-harness2@0.1.0-rc.1The release .tgz is byte-identical to npm (SHA256 cb4f177727adb0554eea051748e8339ab764f34212b2f9e3c447900d4f7515ec). The immutable tag and assets are unchanged. The README inside the original artifact preserves the initial GitHub-only distribution snapshot; current installation details are in the repository README. Fixed Git installation remains available as github:jcs130/dsh-harness2#v0.1.0-rc.1.
This preview includes:
- Actual upstream Propose–Probe–Compose, selection and reflection through bounded host callbacks.
- Explicit per-session jobs, independent durable model sessions, budgets, cancellation and no replay of incomplete effects.
- Original and held-out comparisons, metadata-only views, and an optional canonical host-memory port.
- A declarative ledger adapter for testing the integration; additional task domains require explicit isolated adapters.
- Optional read-only projections from existing domain plugins. Minecraft execution and game memory remain in
agent-mc-world.
Validation: 20 regular tests pass, including the official DSH market parser; the optional upstream test is skipped in this run and passed separately against the actual pinned Google workflow in parallel k=1 and sequential k=2. Actual DSH 0.2.1-rc.2 / pnpm 11.28.5 installation and installed-runtime loading passed from npm, the immutable Git source and the tarball. Owner API returns 200, delegates are denied, and unloading removes the route. The npm verification profile used default pnpm invocation: pnpm automatically added one exact minimumReleaseAgeExclude entry for the explicitly requested new package/version; global settings and broad protections were not changed. Verification starts no game connection and makes no paid-model call.
The Desktop Web protocol and compiled React components were checked; the native Desktop window has not been visually inspected. The scripted-model demonstration is plumbing evidence, not a measurement of real-model quality, lower cost or online Agent improvement. Installing this plugin starts no experiment or Python worker; an explicitly configured Linux/WSL Python 3.12+ environment is required to run experiments.
To roll back, remove the plugin with the DSH plugin manager and retain the configured private evidence directory and upstream workspace. Incomplete jobs and original trial evidence must not be reset or replayed.
DSH adapter code is MIT. Upstream Google Harness² is installed separately under Apache-2.0; see NOTICE.
