Seam generates AI video transitions between your shots with open models in ComfyUI: on your GPU or on Comfy Cloud,
from a web studio, the CLI or an AI agent. Every take can be reopened and re-run in ComfyUI.

Transitions

• Generate a transition between two shots: images, 1–6 s clips, or a 3D model (.glb) you frame in the browser.
• 10 qualified effects on LTX-2.5: Smoke, Water bend, Whip pan, Lava, Beast, Ink, Light burst, Zoom through, Melt
  and Wind vortex, plus Surprise me. Each one is exposed only after it passed review on two image pairs × two seeds.
• 5 s takes for every effect, 10 s takes for Smoke, Water bend and Whip pan.
• Clips in and out: the transition leaves from clip A's last frame and lands on clip B's first, and Seam joins them
  into one video.
• Seam describes each shot with a small local model and puts that line in the prompt; you can correct it before
  rendering.
• Pick the model per take: LTX-2.5 (default), LTX-2.3 or Wan 2.2 (open weights), or MiniMax H3, Kling 3.0 and
  Seedance 2.5 as partner models on Comfy Cloud. Seam lists only the models your backend can really render.
• Three example pairs load with one click.

Sequences

• 2–8 shots in order, one effect per hand-off, joined into a single video.
• Grow a story: continue a finished take with a new shot, or add a shot to a sequence; only the new transition renders.
• Edit like a storyboard: reorder or remove shots. Takes whose shots stay together are reused; only new hand-offs
  render.
• A story line for the whole sequence and a direction for each transition.
• Rough cut: preview the order and pacing in seconds, before anything renders.

Generate shots

• Create images from a prompt with Z-Image-Turbo, FLUX.2 Klein 4B or Juggernaut XL. Choose the aspect, quality and
  up to 4 images per prompt.
• A collection of every image with its prompt and settings: star, trash, variations, reuse the prompt, or use an image
  in a transition or a sequence.

Studio

• Your GPU or Comfy Cloud, switchable in the app or with seam backend.
• Gallery of takes with filters, a render-time estimate, stars and a trash (7 days, with Undo and Restore).
• Every take keeps a receipt and an Open in ComfyUI bundle with the exact workflow and both shots.
• A chat on the local Gemma-4 E2B that explains the app, knows the open take, and prepares a new one for you to start.
  It never renders or deletes on its own.

For agents and the command line

• CLI (seam make, seam sequence make/extend/edit, seam doctor, seam backend).
• MCP server and a Claude Code / Agent Plugins skill: plan, render, review the take and refine, shots included.
  WebMCP tools in browsers that support it.
• seam doctor checks ffmpeg, ComfyUI, its nodes and every model file, with a fix for each failure.

Safety

• Only answers on localhost; Comfy Cloud requires it. Your Comfy Cloud key is sent only with partner-model jobs and is
  never shown in the app. Nothing is deleted without a human click.
