New Security tab, next to Device Health, for malware and spyware:
Quick scan and Full scan through Microsoft Defender (one administrator approval), with its virus
definitions updated first.
What Defender found: active threats with their kind, severity and where they were found, to remove one at a time
or all at once; what it already quarantined or removed is listed as history.
Installed apps that are known to be unwanted (browser hijackers, adware, fake optimizers and driver updaters),
uninstalled the way Uninstall Software does it.
Block unwanted apps turns Defender's protection against potentially unwanted apps on or off.
When another antivirus is in charge, the tab says so and leaves scanning to it.
Fix my PC suggests removing active threats and unwanted apps.
Device Health: the Security card shows active threats, and its button opens the Security tab.
