Jetformat 0.1.8 adds searchable command discovery and expands presentation inspection and editing.

  • Find tasks with jetformat commands pdf or jetformat commands ppt slide.
  • Export usage, examples, and typed flags with jetformat commands --json. Discovery runs locally without an account, billing, or telemetry.
  • Inspect slide, master, and layout identities with jetformat ppt ids deck.pptx --json and look up an ID with --id.
  • Inspect and edit presentation drawing guides, including contextual theme colors and layout overrides.
  • Includes the accumulated Office/PDF fixes and validation improvements since 0.1.7.

Downloads include macOS, Linux, and Windows builds for amd64 and arm64. Read-only document commands require no account; paid writes retain normal billing. Set JETFORMAT_TELEMETRY=off or DO_NOT_TRACK=1 to disable optional telemetry.

Validation: command-discovery tests and builds pass; slide-identity acceptance covers 252 SDK identities and 283 free CLI checks. Two existing Word pagination comparison failures remain (22 versus 21 pages and 24 versus 3 pages on their reference fixtures). Review your own fonts, layout, and representative files before production automation. This release does not claim complete Aspose parity or universal layout fidelity. Windows and Intel macOS packages are cross-built; those target systems were not exercised in this release session.
