Releases
SoundCloud for macOS 1.1.0
What's new
- Media keys and other Now Playing controls reach SoundCloud even when another player is the current one. The app now publishes its own Now Playing entry with the track, artwork and position, instead of relying only on WebKit's, which macOS can't tell apart from Safari's.

The first release of SoundCloud for macOS, continuing rlacombe/SoundCloud-macOS (last released as v0.1.0).
What's new
- Music keeps playing when you close the window. Click the Dock icon to bring it back; ⌘Q quits.
- Previous and next track from the keyboard media keys, Control Center and other Now Playing widgets, instead of ±15 second buttons.
- Sign in with Google, Apple or Facebook.
- No more silent playback in the background, where the time kept running but the sound was gone.
- Pauses when you close the lid and doesn't start playing again on its own when you open it.
- Launch screen and a title bar that blends into SoundCloud, with no white flash on startup.
- Links to other websites open in your default browser.

Coming from the original app? This version has a new bundle identifier, so you'll need to sign in to SoundCloud once more. You can delete the old app afterwards.
