Changes

  • Refreshed the Claude model lineup in AI Assistant settings: Haiku 4.5, Sonnet 5 (new recommended default), Opus 4.8, and Fable 5 (frontier reasoning, premium). Removes the retired Sonnet 4.6 / Opus 4.7 entries.
  • Added an Effort setting (Low / Medium / High / Max) controlling how much the model "thinks" before responding — trades quality against latency and token cost. Disabled for Haiku, which doesn't support the parameter.
  • Existing installs with a stale/retired model string in Settings are automatically rolled forward to the new default (claude-sonnet-5) on startup.
