latest (separate project, releases) |
Install in order: drivers → control → appliance-compositor → panel. To upgrade, uninstall first (choose Keep settings). t6-panel 2.3 needs t6-control 2.3; drivers are released alongside with no changes of their own.
- Sign-in pages (hotels, cafés): the Wi-Fi light turns yellow and the panel marks Wi-Fi or Ethernet as "Sign-in needed" or "No internet", with Check again. t6-control turns on NetworkManager's connectivity check for this.
- Open sign-in page shows the network's sign-in page full screen on the panel, always over Wi-Fi, with the panel's keyboard, and closes by itself once the internet is reachable.
- A one-tap Cisco Meraki sign-in page is accepted by itself whenever it comes back; Wi-Fi › Accept sign-in page by itself turns that off per network.
- Network › Ethernet › Share the internet on this port gets a device without Wi-Fi online through the NAS (a USB Ethernet adapter, not fnOS's built-in port); off again after a restart.
- Fixed: if part of the panel failed to load at boot, it kept one CPU core busy; it now reloads itself.

Install in order: drivers → control → appliance-compositor → panel. To upgrade, uninstall first (choose Keep settings). Only t6-panel changed since 2.1.1; drivers and control are released alongside with no changes of their own.
- 长虹琉璃: the page backdrop is now seen through a sheet of fluted glass whose light drifts slowly, the sky by day and the desk lamp at night. It stands still while the screen is dimmed or off, while the control center or a dialog is up, and while a video plays.
- Settings › Appearance: Moving backdrop turns the motion off; Pause on battery (on by default) holds it still while the NAS runs on its battery.
- The status bar is clear at the top of a page and frosts once the page scrolls.
- Colour correction has moved from the panel's Settings to the app's web page on the fnOS desktop, out of reach of a stray tap.
