nospoon Android 0.1.4

First-time setup is easier to find:

• Larger add and information buttons on the main screen.
• An in-app introduction with setup steps and a documentation link.
• A larger, clearer instruction on the empty configuration screen.
• Updated phone screenshots and English/Greek help text.

Connection profiles and their recovery copies are excluded from Android
backups and device transfers. Always-on VPN is disabled on Android 8.1 and
newer until automatic connection restoration is supported.

For Android 8.0+ devices with arm64-v8a. Native library versions are unchanged.

nospoon 0.1.3

Native source-build packaging update for F-Droid preparation. The app now pins HyperDHT and its dependencies through recursive Git submodules, using the same native library versions as 0.1.2.

Native builds normalize source paths and omit GNU build IDs. Generated ART baseline profiles are disabled to avoid nondeterministic build output; this omits bundled startup optimization hints. Android can still optimize the app after installation.

The unsigned APKs built independently by the regular source CI and official F-Droid container match byte for byte. Both builds passed.

The release APK uses the existing developer signing certificate. APK v2/v3 signatures and 16 KiB ZIP alignment passed. Copying its public signature onto the independent source build reproduced the signed APK byte for byte.

An installation signed with a different key, including a development build or the Google Play signing key, cannot update to this APK in place. Back up connection profiles before changing installation channels. The final signed APK has not been tested on a phone.

nospoon 0.1.2

Release APK for Android 8.0+ (API 26), arm64-v8a.

Changes:

• Replace Google Play Services scanning with a bundled QR-only scanner.
• Build the native networking library from pinned public sources.
• Add offline open-source licenses and notices under About → Licenses.
• Preserve imported MTU settings and clear omitted client seeds.
• Improve Android 8 compatibility and keep scanner prompts clear of system bars.

The APK is the release build produced by the F-Droid container validation run, signed with the project's own release identity. The accompanying .sha256 file provides its SHA-256 checksum. Source and build/relink instructions are available at this tag.

Updates: this APK requires the same signing certificate as an existing installation. Play-distributed, F-Droid-signed and development builds may use different certificates and cannot necessarily be updated with this APK. Preserve your profiles before replacing an installation with a different signing identity.
