AI Agents (MCP)
- Use CleanMacJoe from Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode or Antigravity: ask your agent to free up space, explain why your Mac is slow or find apps you no longer use.
- You stay in control: agents only propose cleanups and uninstalls. Nothing goes to the Trash until you confirm it in CleanMacJoe (Move to Trash), and an approved cleanup can be undone.
- Turn it on in AI Agents in the sidebar. Claude Desktop is set up with one click; the other agents get a ready-to-paste command.
- The server is reachable only from this Mac and needs a secret token stored in your Keychain.
- A banner on every screen shows when an agent is working, with a Stop button. The activity log shows which agent did what.
Version and updates
- New Settings › Version section with a Check for Updates button.
- After an update, CleanMacJoe shows what's new.
Install
- Drag CleanMacJoe into Applications and open it from there: the AI agent setup needs it.
