TidyTV 0.2.0

Download: TidyTV-0.2.0.apk below, or from tidytv.winkle.dev. Android 8 or newer, 12 MB.

Upgrading from 0.1.0? The package name changed to com.appfactory.tidytv, so uninstall 0.1.0 first. Your TV's backup list on the TV itself is kept, so Restore still works.

What's new

• Two home screens to choose from: Simple (tv-detox, the default, any Android TV) or Apple TV style (cleanyourtv's launcher, Android 8 and newer). Both roll back if anything goes wrong and come off with Restore everything.
• Real app icons: the review list shows each app's own icon, read from the TV.
• 93 tested TV models, up from 66, from the latest cleanyourtv lists.
• Feedback from inside the app: report a problem (with the log, if you like) or tell us what worked.
• Share your result: after a tidy, share a card showing how many apps you turned off.
• New mascot and icon, and clearer restore messages.
