Changes

  • Add a segmented Database / Plugins / Themes / Media progress bar, measured payload sizes, elapsed time, live transfer/step ETA and timestamped recent activity. Preparation, verification and health checks show their phase; completion follows successful apply.
  • Prepare source streams before sending and resume safely when a refreshed page encounters a running request.
  • Speed repeat plugin/theme comparisons with compact pinned source inventories. A 1,501-file local fixture reduced comparison requests from five to one, the plan from 100,032 to 128 bytes, and median warm comparison time from 159 to 77 ms. These figures cover comparison, not the whole migration. Independent source/destination verification remains in place.
  • Reduce checkpoint response overhead and unnecessary remote progress polling during pulls.
  • Default authenticated pushes and pulls to allowed on fresh installations. Preserve saved permissions and the separate remote-update permission.
  • Document the deferred, pull-only GitHub checkout idea in todo.md; GitHub checkout integration is not implemented.

Validation

257 backend checks passed, covering fresh/repeat pulls, database and missing-plugin presets, media cascades, compact plans, Git/secret exclusions, activation, backup rotation, repeated restores, interrupted operations, scoped access, diagnostics and native plugin upgrades. JavaScript progress/workflow/selection/version checks and a real four-component desktop/mobile browser pull passed. QA fixtures were removed and existing backups preserved.
