LEIO Code 2.6.8
LEIO Code 2.6.8
Fixed
- Windows / POSIX Hardening:
- Enforced LF line endings via
.gitattributesacross shell scripts, JS/TS/Python/Rust sources, and manifests sogit clonewithcore.autocrlf=trueon Windows never corrupts shebangs. - Hardened
scripts/launch-stdio-mcp.sh(USERPROFILEfallback,.cargo/bin/leio-code.exeresolution, Windows Node.js install locations, andcygpath -wconversion formcp/index.js) andhooks/session-context.sh(replacedpython3stub/cp1252 dependency with a CRLF-safeawkpass). - Fixed Node/Python packaging and registration (
type: moduleinpackaging/package.json, bundledskills/leio-code/SKILL.md, CRLF normalization inmergeToml,realpathSynccomparison inregister-mcp.js, silentCREATE_NO_WINDOWinleio_register.pth, andshutil.copytreefallback ininstall_codex_plugin.py). - Hardened MCP runtime (
${HOME}expansion and.exe/.cmdresolution inmcp/resolve-binary.js,tasklistPID liveness check inmcp/watch-state.js,windowsHide: true, andos.devNull+ empty hooks dir inmcp/harness-review.js). - Hardened Rust
leio-codeandleio-harnesson Windows (preserved essential Windows environment variables across.env_clear(), stripped verbatim\\?\drive prefixes from canonicalized paths, added.exeand self-overwrite handling inleio-code update, and implemented Win32OpenProcess/GetExitCodeProcessliveness probing insrc/sidecar.rs).
- Enforced LF line endings via

LEIO Code v2.6.5
LEIO Code 2.6.5 separates repository policy from the engine, makes the harness bus active by default, and brings current source directly into navigation results.
Repository-owned doctors
- Keep nine generic checks in LEIO. Application and parser policy is discovered from each repository's catalog; LEIO's own self-checks are also a separate source pack.
- Execute native Rust packs only after explicit local trust. Bind trust to the canonical repository, catalog digest and installed executable digest. Disable native execution in the hosted Apps SDK.
- Bound executable reads, request serialization, process output, process lifetime and batch concurrency. Preserve successful batch results and fail CI on malformed, explicitly failed or incomplete results.
- Keep sovereign
parsers-rs, Mycelia and Atlas ownership separate.
Harness and communication
- Enable the bus by default for
runandday, with a private managed Unix socket when no endpoint is configured and an explicit--no-busopt-out. - Make persistence atomic and durable; reject corrupt snapshots, competing owners, invalid payloads and exhausted capacity.
- Treat failed result delivery as an infrastructure failure. Bound process output and clean up process groups.
- Harden shared-memory ABI v2 attachment, slot synchronization, owned payload snapshots and generation-bound verifier claims.
Navigation
- Return bounded current-source excerpts, signatures, hashes and explicit freshness state.
- Provide exact executable open actions, context-to-navigation follow-ups, pagination and direct traversal when an edge has one target.
- Default to compact MCP responses; retain complete diagnostics with
full: true.
Validation
- 830 core Rust tests passed before the final native-runner follow-ups; the final native integration target passed all seven tests. Strict Clippy passed.
- 136 harness, 98 MCP and 78 Apps SDK tests passed.
- 106 Python export, packaging and installer tests passed. Portable archives passed payload/hash verification and clean installation.
- A real-source navigation evaluation reached implementation in two calls with no external source read; the same compact selection was 64.18% smaller in bytes than its full diagnostic packet. Indexed relationships remain source evidence, not runtime proof.
Native CLI and harness binaries are provided for Linux x86_64, macOS Apple Silicon and macOS Intel, with SHA-256 sidecars. The portable plugin archives have a digest manifest.

LEIO Code 2.6.4
LEIO Code 2.6.4 publishes the current source with complete portable plugin packages and refreshed native binaries. It includes the knowledge, retrieval, RDF 1.2, and MCP improvements prepared in 2.6.3.
Changes
- Restore Intel Mac release builds using
macos-15-intel; build Apple Silicon onmacos-15. - Build with pinned Rust 1.98.1 and the checked-in dependency lockfile, and run both executables before uploading.
- Include
rust-toolchain.tomland the portable.leio-code/config.tomlin plugin archives. Local indexes and event logs remain excluded. - Align plugin and marketplace version metadata at 2.6.4.
- Include SPARQL prefix diagnostics, RDF 1.2 knowledge support, hybrid retrieval, bundled MCP binary installation, and transport parity checks from 2.6.3.
Downloads
- Native CLI and harness binaries: Linux x86_64, macOS Apple Silicon, and macOS Intel, each with SHA-256 checksums.
- Portable plugin:
leio-code-plugin-v2.6.4.tar.gzor.zip; the JSON manifest records their SHA-256 digests.
Verification
- 985 Rust library tests, 96 MCP tests, and 78 Apps SDK tests passed.
- Export, installer, and release artifact regression suites passed.
- Both plugin archives passed payload and digest verification; the tarball passed installation into a clean temporary repository with MCP dependencies prepared.
- Public export passed the private-name and secret contract.

This release distributes source, plugins, and native executables. It does not deploy the hosted service or publish to crates.io or npm.
LEIO Code 2.6.2
LEIO Code 2.6.2 public source release.
Local stdio MCP with 18 tools, task-scoped repository context, session-pinned graph/FCA/heading navigation, and JSON-LD provenance.
Install with one agent prompt
Paste this into a local coding agent with terminal access:
Install the official LEIO Code local stdio MCP from https://github.com/josaum/leio-code by following docs/install-stdio.md. Inspect the installation script, check prerequisites, build the locked source, and verify the actual MCP handshake, 18 tools, context and session navigation. Register only the leio-code stdio server in this host, preserving other MCP entries. Use absolute paths and the installer output. Do not enable the HTTP integration. Tell me whether a host reconnect is required and report the installed revision and verification results.
This is a source release, with no prebuilt binaries attached. Source installation requires Git, a C/C++ toolchain, stable Rust, Node.js 22+ and npm. Compilation can take several minutes. No private repository credentials or optional Python wheels are required.
License: MIT OR Apache-2.0, at your option; third-party dependencies retain their licenses.
Validation on macOS: release source build, 1,500 Rust tests, 94 stdio MCP tests, 72 hosted adapter tests and 89 Python tests, and an actual stdio handshake/context/selection/back-navigation check. These checks do not establish deployment or application runtime correctness for indexed repositories.
