• Windows / POSIX Hardening:
  • Enforced LF line endings via .gitattributes across shell scripts, JS/TS/Python/Rust sources, and manifests so git clone with core.autocrlf=true on Windows never corrupts shebangs.
  • Hardened scripts/launch-stdio-mcp.sh (USERPROFILE fallback, .cargo/bin/leio-code.exe resolution, Windows Node.js install locations, and cygpath -w conversion for mcp/index.js) and hooks/session-context.sh (replaced python3 stub/cp1252 dependency with a CRLF-safe awk pass).
  • Fixed Node/Python packaging and registration (type: module in packaging/package.json, bundled skills/leio-code/SKILL.md, CRLF normalization in mergeToml, realpathSync comparison in register-mcp.js, silent CREATE_NO_WINDOW in leio_register.pth, and shutil.copytree fallback in install_codex_plugin.py).
  • Hardened MCP runtime (${HOME} expansion and .exe/.cmd resolution in mcp/resolve-binary.js, tasklist PID liveness check in mcp/watch-state.js, windowsHide: true, and os.devNull + empty hooks dir in mcp/harness-review.js).
  • Hardened Rust leio-code and leio-harness on Windows (preserved essential Windows environment variables across .env_clear(), stripped verbatim \\?\ drive prefixes from canonicalized paths, added .exe and self-overwrite handling in leio-code update, and implemented Win32 OpenProcess/GetExitCodeProcess liveness probing in src/sidecar.rs).
