v0.3.78 — The sampler, finished
The last piece of the sampler. cycle joins the pad panel: set it and each hit rotates which layer answers, so five snare takes stacked on one pad play in turn instead of machine-gunning the same one — and a velocity-split pad rotates both halves honestly. Phrases now remember the sample rate they were captured at and play at pitch and tempo on any device. Wide zone edits ship the whole keyboard to the engine as a single command instead of a hundred and seventy-six, priced against measured cost so it always lands inside one audio callback. The pad and zone lists carry a memory line naming what your kit is holding, saving sweeps away sidecar recordings nothing references any more (only ever inside the session's own folder), Tab can no longer wander out of the trim strip, Space is refused in words while source mode is recording, and a sequencer offered the sampler as a child now says plainly that pads need their own track instead of going quiet. Under the hood, every clamp and constant the engine and the interface once spelled separately lives in one place, and a long-standing lint blockage was cleared — the workspace's warning count fell from forty-seven to eleven, none in sampler code. This closes the sampler arc that began at v0.3.71: eighty-eight pads, external WAVs, resampling any built-in instrument, audio and phrase layers, chromatic zones, trim, round robin, and sessions that carry all of it.
