Highlights: episode titles in file names ({episode_title}), and manual assignment of one track to several consecutive episodes on the review page, for discs that hold two cartoon segments per track.
Added
- Episode titles in file names. Add
{episode_title}to the Episode Filename Format (Settings → Preferences → Naming & extras, with Naming Convention set to Custom) to get names likeShow - S01E05 - Gray Matter.mkv. The default format is unchanged. The title comes from the same catalogue as the episode number (TMDB, or TheTVDB for a job on TheTVDB order); a track holding several episodes lists their titles joined with&; and an unknown title is dropped together with its separator instead of leavingShow - S01E05 -. Characters a file name can't hold are removed and very long titles are cut at 100 characters. The settings preview now renders every placeholder. (#826, thanks BurgerMage27 on Discord!) - The review page can now assign one track to several consecutive episodes by hand, for a disc that holds two cartoon segments in one track and has no subtitles for the matcher to work from. Pick the first episode under Manual, then the last one under + Also covers; the file is named with the range (
Show - S01E01-E02.mkv) and the season roster counts every episode the track holds. Episodes another track already holds are labelled in the list. The server now rejects an episode range that runs backwards or crosses seasons instead of storing it as something nobody chose. (#830)
Changed
- Engram's MakeMKV integration was checked against MakeMKV 2.0.0 (the new major version) and needed no changes: its robot-mode output and drive listing parse exactly as before, and the parser is now pinned to real 2.0.0 output in the test suite. (#837)
