What's Changed

Version 2 has as a main goal to remove deprecated functionality. The functionality has been deprecated for several versions and for almost a year.

If a dependent wants to use the implementations from version 2, but does not want the API break they can depend on version 1.2.35-beta.1 which uses the semver trick to re-export the functions from version 2 into version 1.

Breaking changes

  • The deprecated trait LambertW has been removed.
  • The complex Lambert W functions now take an error tolerance parameter.

These changes were done in in #293, #298 and #299.

Other changes

  • Documentation improvements in #291, #300, #301, #302 and #303.
  • Update transitive dependencies in #313.
  • Update dev-dependencies in #311, #312, and #315.
  • Update transitive dev-dependencies in #294 and #314.
  • Add dates to the headings in CHANGELOG.md in #309.
