v1.0.1
jpm 1.0.1: fixes from running jpm on more real projects, and Debian and Ubuntu packages.
curl -fsSL https://getjpm.sh | sh # macOS and Linuxirm https://getjpm.sh/install.ps1 | iex # WindowsNew
- apt. Each glibc build ships as a
.deb, and releases are published to a signed apt
repository at getjpm.sh/apt (install). - The installers put jpm on the
PATH, bash's.bashrcincluded, unless
JPM_NO_MODIFY_PATHsays not to.
Fixes
- pnpm projects get pnpm's layout. A project with
pnpm-lock.yaml,pnpm-workspace.yamlor
packageManager: pnpm@…builds its packages in the project, not in the global store: pnpm
keeps every package within reach from inside the project, and its projects come to import
what they do not declare (n8n'stscfound noeslintfrom the store).global-store=true
turns the store back on. - A pnpm project with electron stays isolated, as pnpm links it, unless
nodeLinkersays
hoisted. One workspace's electron no longer changes the layout of all the others. - Scripts get the
.npmrcsettings asnpm_config_*, as npm passes them. - Install scripts find npm's
node-gypon Windows. - The hoisted layout keeps what stands when nothing is recorded, as npm and bun do.
--ignore-scriptsno longer says install scripts were not run and thatjpm approve
runs them: approving runs nothing there.
