StickTime 1.11.0
StickTime is a 3D FPV sim that runs on your EdgeTX radio. Download StickTime-1.11.0-sdcard.zip below, copy what your radio needs from its SCRIPTS/TOOLS/ to /SCRIPTS/TOOLS/ on the SD card and start it from SYS → Tools:
- Color radios:
StickTime.lua,StickTimeGhosts/,StickTimeTracks/ - B&W radios, STM32F4 (TX12 MkII, Zorro, Boxer, Pocket, X9D+ 2019...):
StickTimeBW.lua,StickTimeBW/,StickTimeTracks/ - Older B&W radios, STM32F2 (X7, X9D, X-Lite, TX12 MkI...):
StickTimeLite.lua,StickTimeLite/
The B&W editions need EdgeTX 2.11 or newer. Updating: replace the StickTimeBW and StickTimeLite folders (keep the Lite's data.txt).
Or install it from the browser: https://juricabi.github.io/sticktime/ → Install (Chrome or Edge, the radio in USB Storage mode). It keeps your saves, tracks and ghosts.
Unplug the quad's battery or switch the RF module off first: the radio keeps transmitting while you fly. Try it in your browser: https://juricabi.github.io/sticktime/
If you like it, you can buy me a coffee on Ko-fi.
New in 1.11.0
- Detail (color, Settings → Detail, High by default): Low draws the same picture simpler, for a slow radio or a busy track of your own: every other line of the fine ground grid, far hoops and gates simpler sooner, a shorter fade at the horizon, trees and bushes without their lit side, and nothing of the mountains that the haze covers. About 7% off a Classic frame and 10% off a Summer one on a TX16S. High is the picture you know, pixel for pixel; the game itself is the same at either.
- Quicker drawing (all editions): the same picture, pixel for pixel on the radios and on StickTime Pi, in less time: about 4% less a frame on a TX16S and 6.5% less on B&W radios.
- Camera tilt goes up to 90 degrees, in 5 degree steps (the Lite: 60, 70, 80 and 90 added).
Earlier changes: all releases.
Faster firmware (optional, color radios): Lua tools every 20 ms instead of 50, much faster drawing, now on EdgeTX main of 25 October with quicker lines and triangles: fast-lua-20ms. Back up your SD card first.

New in 1.10.0
- Scenery (color): props (conifers, leafy trees, bushes, hay bales, tyre stacks, traffic cones, light masts, tents, windsocks and posts), rails between two points (fences, safety nets, race tape, power lines on pylons and banners), decals on the ground (dirt roads, tarmac, gravel, painted lines, ponds and sand), and structures in wood, brick, dark steel, white, yellow and green, drawn filled and shaded. B&W radios have no memory for it.
- The eight tracks have their scenery (color): Meadow's hay bales, farm track and pond; Figure 8 as a car park ringed by light masts; Dive Tower's gravel and a power line; the Slalom's tyre stacks and banners; a pond in Hoop Forest's clearing; the Grand Prix's tarmac start straight with tents and banners; the Bando's tyres, mud and a power line; the Pro Track's nets, tents and masts. The gates are where they were: your best times stay.
- A pilots' area on every track, yours too (color): a tent and a windsock by the start pad, out of the racing line's way. The tent is open under its canopy: fly through, or land on top of it; its legs and the canopy stop the quad. The windsock hangs limp without wind and stands out downwind in a strong one, fluttering with the gusts. B&W radios and the Lite have a windsock too, drawn in lines behind the pad.
- Hits (color): fences, nets, banners, race tape and a power line's wires stop the quad like a wall (a hard hit edge-on is a prop strike, as on a wall), even at full speed, and landing in a pond is a SPLASH (back at the last gate; in Freestyle at the start pad). In Freestyle, flying beneath a power line or a banner is a new trick: UNDER.
- Night (color): a new look in Settings → Colors: a dark sky full of stars, the moon, and gates lit like LED race gates, the next one amber.
- Sky detail (color, Settings → Sky detail, On by default): clouds drifting slowly round the sky, the sun high up, or low and orange in the Evening, and the moon and stars at Night. It costs under 1 ms a frame on a TX16S: on a slow radio, or with a busy track of your own, turn it off.
- The horizon (BW): a ridge of mountains. The start pad on the ground (BW and Lite). Trees keep their crowns out to 90 m, not just the near ones (BW and Lite).
- The ground grid reaches farther: on B&W radios the 10 m grid now runs out to 60 m as on color ones, and when you fly high a coarser 30 m grid goes on beyond it, out to 16 times your height, so it no longer ends close below you (all editions). On color radios it runs on over tarmac, dirt, gravel, sand and ponds too, in their own shades.
- Quicker drawing (all editions): the same picture with about 17% fewer Lua instructions a frame on color radios and 16% on B&W ones, which pays for much of the scenery.
- Your own tracks with scenery: the emulator's track editor places props, rails and decals (or a pilots' area, a taped lane or a fence round the track at once), and Check says when one is in the racing line's way. A track with scenery is saved as format 3: up to 24 gates, 16 structures, 32 props, 12 rails and 8 decals; StickTime BW flies its gates and structures. A bigger one is format 4 (up to 48 gates, 64 structures, 128 props, 32 rails and 32 decals), for color radios. Both need StickTime 1.10.0; earlier versions don't list them, and tracks without scenery are saved as before.
- Track gallery: five tracks to show it off: Farm Field, Power Line, Parking Lot (fly it at Night), Lakeside and the Container Yard (a bigger track: color radios).
- StickTime Pi (0.2.11 and later): its Tracks page lists the tracks with scenery, and its guard for track slots knows them. Update StickTime Pi first, then the game.
Earlier changes: all releases.
Faster firmware (optional, color radios): Lua tools every 20 ms instead of 50, much faster drawing: fast-lua-20ms. Back up your SD card first.

New in 1.9.0
- Colors (color): Settings → Colors has natural looks: Summer, Evening and Overcast. The sky fades from the haze at the horizon to deep blue (or grey) higher up, the grass is duller and fades into the haze far away, and the colors are calmer: the next gate is the brightest thing in view, the other gates a light grey. Easier on the eyes, above all in FPV goggles. Classic is the look so far, and Auto (the default) keeps it on a radio. The natural looks draw a little more: on a TX16S about 4–5 ms a frame in the Bando.
- The horizon's haze (color, every look): no more dotted gaps in it when you roll.
- StickTime Pi (0.2.4 and later): on its analog video output to goggles, Auto is Summer and the text has a black outline, like Betaflight's OSD, readable over sky and grass alike. Motion is smoother at 60 Hz: the game steps exactly with the Pi's frames.
Earlier changes: all releases.
Faster firmware (optional, color radios): Lua tools every 20 ms instead of 50, much faster drawing: fast-lua-20ms. Back up your SD card first.

New in 1.8.0
- Bigger tracks of your own (color): up to 48 gates and 64 structures, instead of 24 and 16. The emulator's track editor saves a track in the bigger format only when it doesn't fit the regular one. StickTime BW and versions before 1.8.0 don't list bigger tracks. Many structures in view at once slow a radio down, so check Radio load in the emulator.
- Structures drawn in the right order (color): on tracks with many of them, like a building's floors and columns, far structures no longer show through nearer ones.
- Raised gates in the right order too (color): a tall dive gate or hoop (for example, in a building's open atrium) and an arch high up or on a roof are drawn in the right order with the structures around them.
- Hand-made track files (color and BW): a gate type or structure kind written with decimals, like 4.004, no longer stops the game. As the last track flown, such a file stopped StickTime at every start.
- Track gallery: the Stonehenge Bando: the unfinished Pevec centre at Lepirac in Bjelovar, Croatia, at its real size. Fly down through its open atrium, between its floors, along the wall and through the beam frames. It's a bigger track: color radios, StickTime 1.8.0 and later.
- Emulator: sending, copying or updating a bigger track on a radio now warns you when it won't show there (StickTime older than 1.8.0, or no color StickTime). Install updates the game. With a B&W radio picked, Fly is off for a bigger track.
Earlier changes: all releases.
Faster firmware (optional, color radios): Lua tools every 20 ms instead of 50, much faster drawing: fast-lua-20ms. Back up your SD card first.

New in 1.7.2
- The next gate's marker shows where to come in from (color): green anywhere on a gate's way-in side (within 70° of its axis), whichever way you head, or when you're heading straight into it from a steeper angle; yellow means go round. Flags: green before them, on or heading to the side you pass. Dive gates: green anywhere above them, a shallow swoop too. It goes green much earlier than in 1.7.1 (gates over 83% of the way in, flags over 80%).
Earlier changes: all releases.

New in 1.7.1
- The next gate's marker turns green when you're lined up to fly through it (color).
- Track gallery: the MultiGP qualifier tracks of 2017 to 2026. Fly them in the emulator (Tracks → Open) or copy one to the radio. Add your own with a pull request (how).
- Track editor reworked: Open (your tracks, a new one, the gallery, a file), My tracks (the emulator's and the radio's slots side by side: remove, copy, update), and under the map Send to emulator, Fly, Send to radio, Save file. It never replaces a track of yours without asking.
- Install is now the connection, install/update and where to get the faster firmware.
- A big ring raised in the editor is flown through its middle.
