Minimi Town 0.2.2
- New 100h and 150h upgrades, so every tier changes the building. Minimi Town: a chalkboard sign by the door at 100h (단골 / Regular, a coffee-cup doodle), then striped awnings over the ground-floor windows and hanging flower baskets by the door at 150h. Neon Rain City: a glowing drinks vending machine on the pavement at 100h, then a water tank, an antenna with a blinking warning light and an AC unit puffing steam on the roof at 150h.
Minimi Town 0.2.1
- Removed the chasing light bulbs round the storefront screen (Neon Rain City) and round the name sign (150h and up, both themes).
Minimi Town 0.2.0
First public release. Minimi Town turns the Steam Deck home into a little street of your games, with a penguin that walks to the one you pick. Try the browser demo.
- Two themes: Minimi Town (a sunny street whose sky follows the clock) and Neon Rain City (rain, CRT storefront screens, a wet street that mirrors the neon).
- Buildings that tell you things: OPEN for games played this week, GRAND OPENING for new ones, CLOSED and scaffolding for installs and downloads, dust (or a run-down shop in the neon city) for games you haven't touched in months.
- Five playtime tiers (100 / 150 / 200 / 350 / 500 h) that visibly upgrade the building, and achievement medals (50% bronze, 80% silver, 100% gold).
- Ⓧ turns the storefront screen round to show playtime, last played, achievements and friends playing.
- The penguin: follows you, sprints, drops behind when you flick fast, sulks when bothered; poke it, pet it, throw it. The left trackpad works as a hand (rub to pet, quick click to poke, hold to pick up, flick to throw), so it works without a touchscreen too.
- Steam's own pieces stay: L2 opens search, R2 slides in What's New / Friends / Recommended, Ⓐ opens the game's own page (nothing launches by itself).
New since 0.1.41:
- Quick Access → Minimi Town → Show the penguin: turn it off for just the street; Ⓐ then opens the game's page straight away (and the trackpad stays Steam's).
- The trackpad diagnostic toggle is gone.
