Admin Actions: Bulk Load Organisations

This option allows you to import a list of new organisations from a comma separated value (csv) file. This is the only supported mechanism for creating new organisations in KB+ (with the exception of organisations that are created automatically through Package import).

The format for the csv file is described on the Bulk Load Organisations page accessed through this option. Currently the column headings supported are:

• name = Organisation name
• sector = the sector to which the organisation belongs (currently the only sector used is ‘Higher Education’
• org.consortium = a consortia to which the organisation belongs - should be an existing KB+ Organisation
• id.jusplogin = the JUSP Login ID for an institution (this is used by JUSP to identify institutions using JUSP)
• id.JC = the Jisc Collections identifier for an institution
• id.Ringold = the Ringold identifier for an institution
• id.UKAMF = the UK Access Management Federation identifier for an institution
• iprange = the IP range for an institution
