Dock Tile 2.6.2
Dock Tile 2.6.2
Tiles now stay put in the Dock when you rename or update them, even right after another Dock change.
Fixed
- Renaming a tile and pressing Update no longer leaves a broken tile in the Dock that points at its old name.
- Dock changes made a few seconds after another Dock restart (for example just after launch or an update) now stick instead of being quietly undone by the Dock.
- Tiles left broken in the Dock by an earlier version are repaired the next time you open Dock Tile.
- A tile is no longer briefly marked as hidden while you add or update it.
- If the Dock doesn't come back after Dock Tile restarts it, Dock Tile now starts it again rather than leaving you without a Dock.
- Reopening the Dock Tile window while it is updating your tiles no longer starts a second round of updates.
Changed
- If the Dock doesn't keep a change, Dock Tile now says so ("The Dock didn't keep this change. Try again.") instead of failing silently.
- Dock Tile now restarts the Dock in a way that can't lose its changes. One side effect: if you rearrange Dock icons in the second before pressing Update, that rearrangement may not be kept.
