TS3AudioBot 0.12.28 — kaiser62 edition
kaiser62 edition of TS3AudioBot, a fork of Splamy/TS3AudioBot for feeding TeamSpeak music bots straight from YouTube and Spotify.
What's new since v0.12.11-kaiser.1
- Searches that find nothing get a second chance. When YouTube returns no results for a
search firstquery (common for long Spotify queries such asGame, Artist - Title lyrics explicit), the bot retries with looser versions of it: without trailing words likelyrics explicit, without bracketed parts, then with just one of the listed artists. This works for every sender. - Searches with apostrophes work.
deploy/youtube-dlpasses arguments to yt-dlp safely, so titles like There's No Moonlight This Night no longer fail, and a search can no longer run commands in the container. - YouTube userscript 1.4.0. The Play/Queue buttons sit in YouTube's like/share row and look like YouTube's own, with a ▾ menu to pick the bot. Hover buttons on thumbnails are icon-only and follow the thumbnail.
- Spotify extension: if a search with the suffix finds nothing, the plain search is tried.
- Web interface icons are now included in the package (they were missing before).
- Stops a stray
ObjectDisposedExceptionerror appearing in the log after some yt-dlp runs. - Automatic builds. Every push to
masteris built and tested by CI and published as themaster-latestprerelease.deploy/autodeploy.shwith its systemd timer can keep a server on it: it waits for the songs playing now to end, swaps in the new build and rolls back if the bots don't reconnect.
