Muninn 1.0 introduces repository-family configuration and automatic indexing of linked Git worktrees.

• Configure repositories through muninn config PATH or the revision-guarded JSON interface. Policies are stored in the database and shared across a family's worktrees.
• Create and edit global settings with muninn config --global or interactive muninn init. API keys stay masked; removal is explicit. Focused-setting documentation appears in a fixed bottom panel in both forms.
• New repository configurations copy global embedding, watcher and file-selection defaults. Saved snapshots remain stable after later global edits. Inherited exclusion/vendor patterns and custom rules are visible together.
• Review a bounded checkout inventory before choosing Start indexing, Edit more, Ask an agent, or Leave unindexed. Saving a new family does not authorize first indexing. Hosted embedding readiness and pass completion are shown explicitly.
• Enabled families discover existing and new worktrees automatically. Moves retain checkout identities and completed views. Unchanged chunks and embeddings are shared while each checkout keeps its own searchable content and graph. Unfinished merges/rebases retain the last completed index.
• Correct MCP usage recording, clarify removal scope and cancellation, and refresh the Nix build inputs.
• Installation guides and shared agent reminders use purpose-focused retrieval and selective durable writeback rather than mandatory call quotas or blocking integration gates.

Linux amd64 and arm64 archives contain statically linked muninn, muninn-index, and muninn-mcp. The macOS arm64 archive uses system libraries and frameworks.

For upgrades from 0.9, follow the upgrade guide. Preserve the old binaries and an appropriate database backup before the coordinated application/schema upgrade. Normal startup/preparation applies pending migrations; existing embedding-profile changes remain unsupported. Read-only inspect/check/preflight commands do not apply migrations.
