Switchboard 2.8.6
A small one, on top of 2.8.5: replies on Android were drawn with nobody's name
on them.
Fixed
- A reply sent straight after your own message had no avatar and no name.
Android grouped it into the run above it, so all you saw was the quoted line
and your text — leaving the reply hanging there with nothing underneath
saying who was answering. A reply always starts a fresh block now, the way
it already did on the desktop. - A conversation could run past midnight without saying so on the desktop.
23:59 and 00:01 are two minutes apart, so messages either side of midnight
were drawn as one unbroken run with a single timestamp. The run breaks at
the day boundary now.
Both clients decide this from one shared rule rather than a copy each, which
is what let the two drift apart in the first place.
Everything in 2.8.5 is here too — if you skipped it, that release brought
**bold**, *italics* and ||spoilers||, fixed the desktop eating
punctuation out of other people's messages, and made "Restart and update"
actually restart and update.
