Free Analytics 1.0.0

First public release.

Install: download free-analytics.zip below, then in WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Use this zip rather than GitHub's "Source code" archives: their folder is named after the tag, but the plugin folder must be free-analytics.

Requires WordPress 6.5+, PHP 8.1+ and MySQL or MariaDB.

What's in it

• Cookieless visitor statistics stored in your own database: no cookies, no browser storage, no IP addresses stored (daily-salted visitor code).
• Dashboard in wp-admin → Statistics: KPIs with the change against the previous period, chart by hour/day/month, most viewed content per post type, pages, traffic sources, UTM campaigns, contact clicks, form submissions, 404s, devices, browsers and systems.
• Contact clicks (phone, email, maps, Viber, WhatsApp) and form submissions (Bricks, Contact Form 7, Elementor Pro, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms), plus window.freeAnalytics.track().
• Works with full-page caches; WP Rocket's "Delay JavaScript" exclusion is added automatically.
• wp-admin home widget, WP-CLI (wp free-analytics summary|prune), filters for capability, retention, post types and subtitles.
• English with a complete Bulgarian translation.
