ClipBridge 0.4.4 — A tidier sync notification on Android

Choose a tag to compare

@keepwarehq keepwarehq released this 06 Nov 06:25

Android: turning sync off now always clears its notification — before, switching Clipboard sync off could leave an "offline — reconnecting" notification behind until you swiped it away.

Android: battery settings are your call — Stay connected in the background now opens Android's battery list with a short hint, instead of asking for an exemption directly.

Android: built for Android 16.

Mac and Windows are unchanged (still 0.4.3).

ClipBridge 0.4.3 — One logo everywhere

One logo everywhere. The Mac app icon's clip was drawn black by mistake — it's white now, at the same proportions as the logo on keepware.dev. On Windows, the tray shows the full-colour logo instead of a black glyph (it turns grey while sync is paused).

Mac and Windows are 0.4.3; Android stays 0.4.2.

ClipBridge 0.4.2 — The logo in Quick Settings

Android: the ClipBridge logo in Quick Settings and notifications — the Send clipboard tile and the status-bar icon now show the logo tile (rounded tile, clipboard, cadence bars) instead of a bare clipboard glyph. Android draws these in a single colour, so it follows your system theme.

Mac (0.4.1) and Windows (0.4.0) are unchanged.

Mac: the menu bar shows the full-colour ClipBridge logo — the same teal tile as the app icon and keepware.dev, instead of a plain black glyph. It still dims while sync is paused.

Android and Windows are unchanged (still 0.4.0).

ClipBridge 0.4.0 — Optional Keepware accounts

Sign in with Google — if you want to. A new device then finds your group by itself: confirm the same 4-digit code on a device you already have, and it joins, encryption key and all. Both devices work the code out themselves, so not even the relay can fake a match. QR codes work exactly as before.

Manage your devices on the web. keepware.dev/account lists every device in your group — online, last seen — and removes a lost one on the spot. Every app has a new Manage devices… button.

No passphrase to make up. New groups get a strong recovery passphrase generated for you; it's under Settings → Recovery.

Nothing changes without an account. Sync and end-to-end encryption are untouched — an account only helps your devices find each other, and it never sees what you copy.

Already using ClipBridge? Your group carries on. To link it to an account, press Manage devices… and sign in.

The relay now lives at clipbridge.keepware.dev; the old address keeps working.

ClipBridge 0.3.2 — The new Keepware look

@keepwarehq keepwarehq released this 05 Nov 00:33

Every screen restyled on the Keepware design system — calmer neutrals with a single teal accent, the same design language across the Mac panel, onboarding and pairing windows, and the Android app.

New app icons on Mac and Android, drawn on the Keepware icon grid — sharper at every size.

No behavior changes. Pairing, sync and end-to-end encryption work exactly as before; this is a fresh coat of paint only.
