OmaCodeSnap 0.15.1

Bug fix release.

  • Fixed a crash when snapping a Neovim selection made with v$ that ends on a short last line. The probe recorded an empty span past the end of the line, and the renderer rejected it. The probe now skips that column, and the Neovim adapter drops any stray empty span before rendering. (#13)
  • The Neovim window title now shows the bare filename rather than the buffer's full absolute path, matching the other editors. (#13)

  • Finds Neovim running inside tmux (#22) and herdr (#23). A tmux server on a non-default socket is not found.
  • Finds Neovim under multi-threaded terminals such as Ghostty (#20).
  • When one terminal serves several windows, snaps the Neovim that holds the selection.
  • Accepts a selection resolved by the editor when the Wayland selection is empty.

  • Setup never replaces a file it did not create, and installer ownership checks are tighter (#19).

First release listed on plugins.omarchy.org.

  • Renamed from Omasnap to OmaCodeSnap (ADR-0012).
  • Long lines wrap at word boundaries instead of being clipped, with a wrap toggle and width stepper in the preview. The wrap setting chosen in the preview becomes the new default.
  • Apps can supply a snap through the snap-provider protocol.
  • The Omarchy maze mark is gone from the snap header (ADR-0008).
  • Closed the marketplace review blockers (ADR-0013) and added preview.png for the listing.
  • Rendering fixes for block-glyph tiles and tile gaps.

  • Neovim support through live RPC: colours come straight from the running editor.
  • VS Code support with TextMate highlighting, matched to its active theme.
  • The service runs bin/install itself on load, so there is no manual step after enabling.
  • The language selector's re-highlight now survives the launcher exiting.
  • Hardened against the marketplace security review's top two findings.
  • manifest.json is now the only place the version is written.

First working end-to-end beta: select code anywhere, press a Hyprland
binding, get a beautifully framed, theme-accurate PNG on the clipboard and
in ~/Pictures.

  • Zed-exact syntax colours (JavaScript/JSX, TypeScript, TSX, Python, Rust,
Go, C, Bash, JSON(C), YAML, Markdown, Ruby, Lua), with a generic
Omarchy-palette fallback for any theme that ships no zed-theme.json —
every install colours real code, not just the four themes with bespoke
    Zed integration.
  • The window reads as a Hyprland tile — live border, rounding and gaps from
this desktop's own Hyprland config, sharp wallpaper backdrop, no macOS
    chrome.
  • Runs as an Omarchy shell service (see ADR-0003), not a fresh process per
    snap.
  • Tested live on real hardware: install, enable, snap, copy, save, replace,
close — all verified end to end.
