Kerrigan v1.0.4
Fixes
- Fix new-node sync failure at difficulty floor transition β blocks mined during the v1.0.2 to v1.0.3 upgrade window used the old 240-block algo-gap threshold, causing bad-diffbits rejection on fresh sync. New nodes now accept blocks valid under either threshold during the transition period (blocks 14000-16500). Thanks to biigbang0001 for identifying and fixing this.
Includes all v1.0.3 fixes
- Fix Sapling state sync failure when upgrading from v1.0.2
- Fix P2P sync stall on heavily loaded servers
- Per-algo difficulty floors at mainnet block 15000
- Algo-gap recovery threshold adjustment at block 14000
Upgrade Notes
All node operators should upgrade to v1.0.4. If your node is stuck syncing, download the bootstrap file below, extract it into your data directory, and start with the v1.0.4 binary.
Bootstrap
The kerrigan-bootstrap.tar.gz contains a pre-synced chain snapshot. Extract into your Kerrigan data directory (blocks/, chainstate/, evodb/, llmq/, sapling/) to skip the initial sync.
