Kerrigan Core v1.2.2
Kerrigan Core v1.2.2
This release supersedes v1.2.1. It fixes two issues found after v1.2.1 shipped.
-
The devfund (15%) and growth-escrow (40%) coinbase allocations were paying
the same address in v1.2.1. v1.2.2 routes the devfund to a separate
multisig, distinct from the escrow. -
v1.2.1's masternode-payments validator required the current (rotated)
treasury scripts to appear in every coinbase, so any historical block
paying a pre-rotation script failed reconnect (causing "Missing treasury
payment" abort loops during fresh sync,-reindex, or chainstate rebuild).
v1.2.2 accepts the current scripts AND any superseded ones for the same
slot, matching the legacy-script pattern already used for the growth
escrow. Fresh sync and-reindexwork again.
Upgrade
Stop the daemon, replace the binaries, restart. No reindex needed if your
node is already on v1.2.1.
If a node was on v1.2.1 with a chainstate that will not reconnect, this
release fixes that without further action. If a node was rolled back to an
earlier release as a workaround and that release marked the recovered
chain's first block invalid, run
kerrigan-cli reconsiderblock 00000000000002bd4c5702af1c13e0c980d203624eea084c0569a7fb3f38bcb1
after upgrading.
Existing v1.2.1 nodes do not need to re-activate the rollback (it is already
in their state).
