New command: "Bring in course update (new literature notes)". Put an instructor's update folder anywhere in your vault and run the command. It adds notes you don't have yet, replaces notes that are still blank with the new version, and leaves any note you've written in or synced highlights into exactly as it is. It also adds missing images, updates the literature note template, and then moves the update folder to the trash so no note appears twice.
2.7.4
Course literature notes can now carry the lead author's details and the paper's figures. Second Reader treats those handed-out sections as part of the template, and its built-in template now includes the "GenAI read this for me" option and the Author information section, so blank course notes are never mistaken for started ones or included in a week's upload.
2.7.3
When a literature note's citekey isn't in the student's Zotero, the title lookup that relinks the note now also matches a title that gained or lost its ending (for example a dropped subtitle), as long as only one item matches.
2.7.2
Finding a reading's Zotero item by title now works on Zotero 9, so handed-out notes with a citekey the student's Zotero doesn't know get linked to the student's item. "open pdf" falls back to any attachment Zotero can open, and when it still can't open one, the message says why.
2.7.1
Literature notes handed out in a course vault now find the student's own Zotero item even when the student's Zotero gave the reading a different citekey. "open pdf" and highlight sync look the reading up by title and switch the note to the student's key.
2.7.0
Weekly packages leave out literature notes that are still blank, and list them in the message. Link colors and the packaging check now treat the vault's own literature-note template as template text, so blank notes made from an instructor's template no longer look written in.
