Loghmeh 0.8.0
The welcome animation now flows into the planner: the same bowl moves into the app header when dining connects and stays there for later connection checks. The calendar becomes usable as soon as the session is verified.
What's changed
- Integrated Saffron Orbit across welcome, connection, and header states, with pause and reduced-motion support, compact recovery messages, and a responsive mobile layout.
- Distinguished dining redirects, sign-in failures, limited access, and network errors. Returning from the dining login checks the session once.
- Added read-only recovery for lost save replies. Uncertain outcomes keep their submitted intent and offer Check save status without resending the reservation change.
- Added queued error banners with timers that pause while hovered, focused, or hidden, plus clearer restaurant loading and visibility controls.
- Bundled Estedad typography locally. Fonts, icons, and animations work without remote assets.
- Removed sample menus, simulation controls, and the probe page from extension packages; these remain available in the local development preview.
Validation
104 Bun tests passed. Svelte, TypeScript, and manifest checks passed. Mozilla's validator reported zero errors, notices, or warnings. Independently rebuilding the source ZIP reproduced every packaged Firefox and Chrome file. The connection handoff was checked at desktop and phone sizes with fictional dining responses; no live reservation was changed during those checks.
Downloads
The Firefox and Chrome ZIPs are for review and developer loading. For Chrome, unzip and use chrome://extensions → Developer mode → Load unpacked. For Firefox, unzip and use about:debugging → Load Temporary Add-on; this unsigned installation is removed on restart.
The source ZIP rebuilds the packages with bun install --frozen-lockfile && bun run package using Bun 1.4.2. Run bun run preview to inspect fictional menus without a university account. The shipped extension uses your browser's university dining login.
The release workflow submits Firefox to Mozilla for review; submission does not imply public approval. Chrome Web Store publishing remains disabled.
Loghmeh 0.7.0
The planner now uses a fixed-height weekly calendar with a sticky budget and restaurant pills below it. Full restaurant names fit their pills, and reservation cards show the restaurant with the food in a hover tooltip.
Changes
- Navigate with the calendar's side gutters, Left/Right arrow keys, or Shift+scroll. Week changes animate, respect reduced motion, and remember the last viewed week locally.
- Highlight today and the current meal directly in the calendar, replacing the redundant Today strip and week heading.
- Use Lucide icons for compact controls and reservation states, with tooltips and accessible labels. The thinner budget bar exposes food and restaurant details on hover.
- Migrate the UI to Svelte 5 and TypeScript with Vite and Bun tooling. Editable sources now live in
src/; the loadable extension is built intodist/build/.
Install and update
Firefox is submitted to Mozilla through the release workflow; store availability depends on review. The GitHub Firefox ZIP is unsigned and can be loaded temporarily through about:debugging after unzipping it. Chrome users can unzip the Chrome package and use Load unpacked in Developer mode. Chrome Web Store publishing remains disabled.
For a checkout previously loaded directly from the source folder, install dist/build/manifest.json after building. Firefox's Reload retains the original install directory.
The source ZIP rebuilds with bun install --frozen-lockfile && bun run package using Bun 1.4.2 or newer. Both extension packages include third-party license notices.
Validation
69 Bun tests, Svelte/TypeScript checks, and Mozilla lint pass with zero warnings. The source archive was rebuilt separately and matched every file in both browser packages. UI checks used fictional menus, including lock, retry, keyboard, wheel, save, and undo states.
