Revision 0.3.0 changes

Full-fidelity battlefield relay
Until this revision, the combat field reached the pilot through a 1024 × 1024 relay buffer, compressed for the Ver.5.66 cabinet hardware and stretched to fit the cockpit display. Pilots on wide-field terminals have long reported soft contours and shimmer on distant structures. The relay has been rebuilt: Cyber Imaginary Space is now projected at the full native resolution of your terminal, with no compression and no stretching.

Select the relay grade under F1 → Resolution:

• 1280 × 720 (original): the certified Ver.5.66 cabinet relay, unchanged
• 1920 × 1080
• 2560 × 1440
• 3840 × 2160

All native grades hold the standard 60 Hz link rate on recommended terminals. Shadow casting from Virtuaroid frames is resolved at its certified cabinet grade, as on field hardware. A terminal restart is required to change grade.

Contour stabilization (anti-aliasing)
F1 → Anti-aliasing controls edge stabilization of frames and terrain in the native relay: Off, 2×, or 4× (original). 4× matches field cabinets. Lower settings sharpen the relay at the cost of edge stability on distant structures. A terminal restart is required.

Oblique surface resolution (anisotropic filtering)
F1 → Anisotropic filtering, from Off to 16×, keeps floor plating, hull markings and arena grids legible at shallow viewing angles. It takes effect immediately.

Commendation records
Opening the commendation registry (Achievements) from the main console no longer locks the terminal.

Twin-cabinet configuration

• With one terminal per pilot, Alt+Enter now switches between spanning both terminals and a movable window. To assign other terminals (for example the second and third of three), press Alt+Enter, move the window across them, and press Alt+Enter again. The assignment is remembered.
• Swap sides places pilot 1's display on the right in split mind-shift display.

Known limitations

• The native relay requires the Direct3D 12 render path
• Shadow casting stays at cabinet grade in all relay grades

This build establishes a live mind-shift link between the pilot and a Virtuaroid frame via Cyber Imaginary Space. Combat outcomes are not rendered, replayed or approximated. They occur in real-time.

Ingress is restricted to certified Virturon Positive (VO+) personnel. Individuals with no confirmed Virturon aptitude, or with lapsed aptitude certification, must not attempt ingress to Cyber Imaginary Space using this software. Unauthorized ingress has resulted in neural feedback trauma, permanent loss of consciousness, fatal results, and documented cases of Shadow Virtuaroid manifestation, in which the pilot's mind-shift signature persists in Cyber Imaginary Space as an unbound hostile entity.

Sentinel Electronics and General Aerodyne accept no liability for pilots lost to Shadow phenomena. Do not engage Shadows. Report all sightings to your Plant's M.S.B.S. maintenance desk.

Ingress procedure

1. Unpack the deployment archive Oratan-recomp-0.2.0-win64.zip to any secure terminal.
2. Install your Plant's licensed combat data (the Ver.5.66 package 2A944528D84678B7C9F0270A564B8E653520EF72, or its extracted form) into the assets bay. Combat data is not distributed with this build. Unlicensed data cannot establish a link.
3. Execute oratan.exe. Confirm VO+ status before proceeding.

Revision 0.2.0 changes

Unlisted battlefield access (Training protocol)
Two theaters long withheld from the standard deployment roster are now reachable. At the stage select, cycle the selector page with LB / RB (Page Up / Page Down on keyboard terminals):

• DISTORTED SHRINE: the sanctuary sector as it exists under interference. Approach with caution.
• TANGRAM: the final theater. Pilots are reminded that this sector is not hospitable to sustained presence.

Neither theater has authorized reconnaissance imagery on file. The selector shows the nearest archived sector in their place.

BRADTOS frame authorization (Training protocol)
At the frame select, place the selector on AJIM and press LB / RB to rebind that slot to BRADTOS. Pilots report that the core can be exposed with a guard-turbo attack, though not reliably. When deployed as an opposing frame, BRADTOS runs its full field entry and termination sequences.

The following were examined and remain sealed. Link attempts were unstable or failed outright:

• SPACE CARRIER and TANGRAM CORE theaters
• The TANGRAM frame
• BAL-KEROS / BAL-BAROS configurations outside their native environments

• Full Arcade campaign and Training protocols at a stable 60 Hz link rate
• Standard Virtuaroid control interfaces
• F1 System Options: render resolution (up to 4×), display sync, full-field / windowed view, local versus
• Alt+Enter toggles full-field and windowed view
• Local two-pilot versus with split mind-shift display: staggered, side by side, or one terminal per pilot (twin-cabinet configuration)
• With second-pilot control disabled, the second display carries the LIVE MONITOR feed

Known limitations

• Score Attack, Customize and record storage protocols are minimally verified
• Render resolution above 2× may exceed the capacity of some terminals
• Split display requires the Direct3D 12 render path
• Wide-area (Xbox Live) and System Link connections are not supported in this revision
